I recently bought a 36" x 24" cutting mat for my fabric cutting needs, only to realize that I have no space to put this on my desk (It is always cluttered with junk..) so my solution is to grab the leftover plywood from my fabric printing table and work directly on the floor.
It works!
The fabric cut is the beginnings of a tote. I'm signed up to teach a Fashion 101 sewing class next week - The tote will be the first day's project.

Horseshoe Tail & Crab Claw
These are the two finds from a Delaware beach weekend in the freezing, snow-covered cold landscape by the ocean.
I love the tiny little pricks along the side of the horseshoe crab's tail. The crab claw has great color and textures.

Got the materials?
Recently, I stocked up on a piece of plywood to make a fabric printing table. Let's see how this goes.
Next step: dark room supplies!

Burgundy Dress
After assembling all of the pieces and gathered at almost every stitch, this burgundy number is finished.
Daisy Shirt
This shirt has a flared bottom and snug fit, based on a japanese pattern book I purchase in LA while visiting my sister.

Notecards to Help Party On!
Party on, Garth. Party on, Wayne.
After making a few quick business cards, I decided it was time to make notecards for small mailings.
These are printed on 61 lb. matte paper.
Faux Bois Pincushion Mock-up
I am planning on making pincushions with a 3-color wood grain print. The print would consist of the sewing pattern to make the pincushion itself.
This will be the first print on the new self-made printing table!
